August 23, 2007 - Dr. James Murray will be presenting at the "Mitochondria & Oxidative Stress in Neurodegenerative Disorders" conference in New York City on September 26-29. The talk, titled
"Probing the link between oxidative stress and neurodegeneration by focused proteomic analysis of mitochondrial proteins," will discuss the emerging consensus that neurodegeneration starts with the accumulation of defects in mitochondrial functioning.

April 19, 2006 - New Product Announcement: A novel approach to assaying activity and quantity of cytochrome c oxidase (which is a biomarker for diseases such as Alzheimer's and cancer) is released with three new microplate kits. These kits require very small tissue samples, and prior isolation of mitochondria from tissue samples is not required.
